The Red Shoes Dance Company's goal is to bring to the lives of its audiences and members an education in historical dance. We wish to celebrate the richness of other cultures through professional dance training.

Our group was created in 2004 by master teacher Valeria Bogokina Myers. In our company, there are students from various cultural backgrounds, experiences, and ages.

Students learn and perform an eclectic array of cultural folk dances that are based on classic Russian technique. It is a joy to share our love of the arts through the expression of dance and to revive a lost tradition and study of European arts.

The technique used in our classes builds confidence and thrives on individual personality. This method is guaranteed to change the lives of students not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
